Ed Stivala has specialised in understanding the subtleties of how we communicate, change minds and create influence with people. In his fast paced and enthusiastic style, he shares this knowledge with his audience, providing practical tools and proven methods that we can all use to become more influential and persuasive, both in business and our personal lives.

His knowledge of business and his ability to shape presentations and seminars to achieve a client's commercial objectives are based on his experience of seventeen years in marketing and sales. He started his first company before leaving school and then had a career in information technology, where he worked with clients such as The Co-Operative Bank and Pfizer, helping them to develop creative and innovative technical solutions to business problems. Ed enjoyed significant success in this role, helped no doubt by his ability to explain complex ideas in an easy to understand manner.

At the age of 27, he achieved his first board appointment, as Sales Director for Systems International, a leading IT systems integrator. During the dotcom boom he held the position of Head of Practice (Technology) for strategy consultancy Decipher, where he was responsible for business development as well as overseeing consulting assignments for clients such as Music Choice and Centrica.

Today Ed runs a busy practice, helping a diverse range of corporate and public sector clients to enhance their communications and business processes. He does this through his workshops and presentations and by working with them directly as a coach.

Never one to turn down a challenge, he has qualified as an aerobatics pilot and a commercial balloon pilot, setting up (and subsequently selling) the first web site to sell hot air balloon rides online. When he is not on the platform or in the air, Ed lives in the Buckinghamshire countryside with his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Megan.
